So … I have a HUGE announcement to make … drum roll …
I’VE PUBLISHED A BOOK !!!!
It’s available on Amazon now in paperback and to preorder for Kindle to be released on 11th August (and that’s only because I couldn’t work Kindle Publisher!) Just type in Eliza Jong in the search bar and it should take you straight to it.
‘I’ve only been kidnapped twice’ By Eliza Jong
Bright yellow cover, you can’t miss it!
It is a memoir. A collection of true tales that I relive and sometimes just me waffling on and on and on … and on … I’m hoping it’ll make you smile, maybe laugh and definitely cringe.
During the last few months of preparing the content, penning my ramblings about the usual stuff, my views and stupid stuff that has happened to me I have been gleefully chuckling my head off reliving some of the drama. Husband has been looking at me like I’ve completely lost my mind, typing away and laughing loudly, and the children have been mainly eating crisps because I was so engrossed that I kept forgetting to feed them.
KDP – Kindle Direct Publisher – is something I’ve used to publish my own book and upload to Amazon. Sounds simple doesn’t it? And it is, if you have a degree in IT which I categorically don’t. I’m one of these types that struggles to find the cursor on the page sometimes. I also save stuff and have no idea where it went, so as you can probably appreciate it hasn’t been that straightforward for me. That said, it’s done and dusted now. 3 days of early starts, late nights and around 54768 edits. PHEW!
I messaged a few of my real life friends and Insta friends to let them know that it was out and the support I’ve received has been outstanding. I feel very lucky to have such a great support system. A lot of my closer ones asked if the stories were about my tits and flaps … Hmmm, there seems to be a running theme here. Although I can say with certainty that not every story is about my body and its functions, I’m not promising that there won’t be an occasional mention of a flap or fanny here and there, but nothing that should put anyone off.
I’m VERY excited and only hope you have as much fun reading it as I have writing it.
